It has been a quiet week here in Frankfurt. At least it was quiet in the sense that we weren't terribly busy. It has actually been quite loud in our apartment at times because the apartment below ours is being renovated. The pounding and drilling has been starting around 7 or 7:30 and usually ends just after Brenda and I give up on going back to sleep. Okay, I may be making it sound a little worse than it is, but I won't be sad when they finish.
Brenda had her first performance of the season on Sunday. You know what I'm going to say next, but I'll say it anyway: Brenda was fantastic. The audience clearly enjoyed the evening, too. You can see some production photos here but, just so you know, Brenda isn't in any of them.
Next Tuesday Brenda and I will be writing to you from Hamburg. Until then, have a great week!
